credX at the Real Asset Finance & Debt Summit 2025
Under bright sunshine and in the special atmosphere of AXICA at Pariser Platz, credX was present yesterday at the Real Asset Finance & Debt Summit 2025 in Berlin. Ralf Kauther (CEO credX AG) delivered a keynote speech there on the topic of “Gen AI in Practice”. Many thanks to BF.direkt, the scientific advisory board around Prof. Steffen Sebastian, Ruecker Consult, and the sponsors of the event!
The discussions at the summit made it clear once again how great the challenges currently are in the market:
- Projects and existing properties are urgently seeking capital.
- At the same time, capital is looking for attractive investment opportunities – and finding them, but rarely domestically, as G. Thomas Alberghina (KfW IPEX-Bank) aptly noted in the panel.
The market here appears to be significantly inefficient. In his presentation, Dr. Kauther outlined concrete approaches on how digitalization – particularly through the use of generative AI – can help to bring capital seekers and providers together more quickly and effectively.
It was repeatedly emphasized how essential a good relationship between borrower and lender is. That is undoubtedly correct. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to consider other aspects as well:
- Under Basel IV and 25 years after the introduction of MaRisk, banks operate in a tightly regulated environment with high documentation requirements.
- Dr. Ruprecht Hellauer (Albulus CREDIT GmbH) pointed out that close customer relationships can also lead to continuing engagements for too long – which ties up capital.
- In the discussions away from the stage, it became clear how much time relationship managers and financing teams have to spend on administrative tasks today: document procurement, answering trivial queries, etc. – aspects that are rarely discussed on panels but are noticeable in practice.
At credX, this is exactly where we come in: we provide the platform, processes, and data so that everyone involved – capital seekers, capital providers, and, if applicable, deal advisors – can once again concentrate on what human intelligence is still far superior to artificial intelligence in: creating genuine understanding, developing creative solutions, and building trust.
If you are interested in the presentation slides, we will gladly provide them to you – request them here!. Further insights on the topic are also available in our webinar with Fakir Technology Consultants – another webinar with deepset is in preparation.
