A few days ago, Dr Ralf Kauther (CEO credX AG) presented an AI developed by credX for the evaluation of real estate data rooms to the FIRM advisory board. You can download a summary in the current FIRM Newsletter.

In addition to presenting the tool, Dr Kauther focused in particular on the typical problems that such ‘real-life’ AI applications entail. The performance of the models and frameworks is much worse than the impressive benchmark values under laboratory conditions, which providers like to present. During the discussion, the participants debated further aspects that need to be resolved for AI products to be ready for use in a production environment: in addition to data protection and the problem of outsourcing, the training and acceptance of employees is also a very important success factor.
